Public Relations & Communications - Hamburg, Hamburg, Germany
12th Hamburg Climate Week from 20 until 27 September 2020 Hamburg Climate Week is an independent initiative of civil society, which, together with hundreds of representatives from science, business and society, forms a platform for dealing with relevant environmental and climate protection issues. The aim of Hamburg Climate Week is to finally move from extensive knowledge about climate change and its threats to real action - for everyone and for the city as a whole. Since 2009, Hamburg Climate Week has been organizing a diverse social dialogue on climate protection and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations, which have been binding since 2016, with partners from business, politics and society. With several thousand visitors and more than 300 participating organisations Hamburg Climate Week, largely based on the work of volunteers, is the largest climate communications event in Europe, according to the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP). The United Nations' Organization for Education, Science and Culture recognized Hamburg Climate Week for its commitment, among other things, as a UNESCO Decade Project for Sustainable Education. Hamburg Climate Week is organized by Klimawoche e.V.
