Hampshire family Mediation (HFM) was founded as a registered Charity in 1986 with the aim of providing a better way to resolve family disputes following a relationship breakdown. Today, HFM is the only not-for-profit mediation service in Hampshire. HFM helps over a 1,000 clients each year to resolve areas of family dispute, operating through locations in the Isle of Wight, Salisbury, Cosham, Portsmouth, Gosport, Southampton, Basingstoke and Winchester. The HFM mediators all hold nationally recognised mediation qualifications and are experienced in providing support in a range of areas to all family members, including children. HFM is approved by the Legal Aid Agency to offer legal aid in approved family mediation cases.
