Electrical/electronic Manufacturing - Anseong, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea
Hana Engineering is a South Korean company that has been developing products for the electrical utility industry for over 10 years. The company also has a sales office in Santa Barbara and is developing a distribution network world wide. Their latest product called the TC4 Tempcam is a combined IR Camera and CCTV camera that is designed for close quarters, stationary temperature monitoring inside sealed high voltage equipment. It is intended for use in mission critical electrical equipment where close monitoring of temperature of specific objects can prevent potentially catastrophic failures resulting from fire or arching. The TC4 Tempcam is about the size of a webcam but ruggedized to withstand the electrical fields that can occur in this equipment. The IR camera is designed to continuously monitor the temperature of up to six user defined objects in the field of view of the TempCam and to continuously stream the temperature information to a central monitoring system. The CCTV camera on board is designed to simplify initial installation and alingnment of the IR camera, and can be used at any time to inspect the interior of the equipment, particularly on the sounding of a temperature warning or alarm. The TC4 TempCam can easily be integrated into a existing SCADA system or can be connected on a Ethernet network. Software is available that allow the monitoring of hundreds of TempCams on a single network.
