Hospital & Health Care - Naperville, Illinois, United States
A non-profit bringing smiles to children battling cancer. Our journey began in 2010 with the vision to make an impact in the cancer community. Kim Bavilacqua, a cancer survivor, partnered with her long-time friend, Jen Coffel. Jen found her passion for the same mission after losing her mother, father and best friend to cancer. Handing H.O.P.E. provides lollipop trees to children's cancer clinics, hospitals, and camps nationwide.Cancer treatments can literally leave a bad taste in your mouth. Children who receive chemotherapy often report a yucky taste in their mouths or even sores after treatment. When children are hurting it feels good to give them a piece of candy to bring them a smile and comfort. Handing Hope lollipop trees are filled with a healthy treat. We found lollipops that are sweetened with natural birch xylitol. They are naturally sugar free, soy free, dye free, dairy free, gluten free, nut free and kosher. We love being able to provide a healthy alternative to children who are battling a big disease. Please join us in supporting our vision to "plant" and "water" lollipop trees in every children cancer treatment center nationwide. Handing H.O.P.E. is a registered 501c3.
