Welcome to Handle Hands, we are a company involved in the creation of products that help to optimise hand function. Our hands not only connect us to the world around us, they also enable us to create, to make, repair, love, they are our tools, they can solve mysteries, they offer opportunities, they allow us to reach for the stars, they create our future. It all starts with our hands... they require to have sensation and movement, both in the joints and muscles.However, problems can occur in the hand or wrist from trauma, overuse injuries, diseases, disabilities, rehabilitation, ageing and injuries from heat, cold and electricity. Not having the full use of one's hands requires assistance from others resulting in loss of dignity and independence, which in turn leads to increased cost to society directly and indirectly.Our first product innovation, named PebbleGrip, is a universal gripping device – a patented, multi-award-winning invention – that locks securely onto various objects, providing hand protection, added grip and hand freedom. The initial aim was to invent a solution for handling hot items in the kitchen - to keep hands safe by tackling the problem at the source, tackling it once so that everyone is protected. After the first pilot, within the "housewares industry", it became evident that there was another industry in desperate need of "hand grip".
