Established in 2015, Hands On Growing (HOG) debuted to the public in the spring of 2016. Based on mobile gardens, HOG exposes and teaches secondary school students to grow their own community garden. The organization also exposes students in Calgary to the guidance and mentorship of several Culinary Arts programs, as well as providing expert guidance on gardening, nutrition and environmental sustainability.
