Mental Health Care - Bengaluru, Karnataka, India
Hank Nunn Institute is a not-for-profit mental health organization that develops and delivers carefully designed and culturally congruent treatment, awareness and training programs to meet the challenges experienced by individuals with personality disorders and difficulties. Our mission is to develop a personality disorder service with robust, long-term, and low-cost treatment. We also implement recovery programs within the local community in order for people to regain a sense of meaningful existence and independent living. Our methods move away from what we believe is a dated regressive way of thinking through labelling and prescriptive medicine.Everyone has the right to a life lived on their own terms, to the freedom to choose, and to an inherent respect for their existence, and our system is being designed to help people realize that right.
