Hello there, I'm Hank, and this is my hobby horse. I want to increase scientific literacy in the community. I also want to make a living by helping other people reach their goals while weeping in bittersweet wonder at the brilliant absurdity of existence. I've always had a complex about being a creative-type, judging that those kinds of people have to be so obscenely self-absorbed that they must believe that imposing the outpourings of their brain on others is some kind of gift. What a bunch of wankers. The realm of content creators has put a bad taste in my mouth like a drink that has been made too strong for one's taste (if there is such a thing, bear with me.) There are way too many promoters of bad science, shy artists, and nervous writers. How much progress in STEM and social change are we stifling because of a hostile culture? I've decided to get over myself and work on the problem – starting with me. I don't consider myself to have remotely above average ideas, but I think I've got the guts and spirit to make up for it. So consider this endeavour as my unflinching, huge swig of the strong drink that is the shitty state of everything. Now that there's some room in the glass, I can water it down it with something more to taste – to dilute the wankers, if you will.
