Welcome to Art Downtown, Hanover's premier gallery and learning center.The Hanover Area Arts Guild is located in the heart of historic downtown Hanover, PA, within easy walking distance of a variety of charming shops, galleries, restaurants, and other attractions. Metered street and lot parking are available.The 501 (c)3 non-profit guild, originated in 1968, has grown into an eclectic organization of more than 150 artists and fine craftsmen, offering new shows and exhibits monthly. Artists' workings in oils, acrylics, watercolors, pastels, collage, photography, pottery, ceramics, fiber arts, jewelry, bead-work, sculpture, glass, and more fill the gallery with original creations. Our gallery is one of central Pennsylvania's best-kept secrets! We offer art at fantastic prices; stop by and see what our local artisans have created. You'll head home with a true original artwork or craft for yourself or your home, or find the perfect gift for a friend.We are proud to provide numerous art-related classes and workshops each season.
