Mining & Metals - Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
Happy Creek Minerals Ltd. (TSX.V:HPY) is a diversified mineral explorer & developer with a portfolio of 100% owned copper, gold-silver & tungsten projects in southern B.C, Canada, a Tier 1 mining jurisdiction. Our focus is on metals critical for the new economy & is led by a highly experienced & successful team of mine-finders & developers. Our most advanced assets are the high-grade Fox Tungsten & the Highland Valley projects both in areas of excellent road access & infrastructure. Our large Highland Valley project adjoins the southern side of the world-class Highland Valley Copper (HVC) open pit mine, which is Canada's largest metal mine, & has been in continuous operation for nearly 60 years. Happy Creek has made several porphyry copper discoveries, most notably Rateria Zones 1 & 2, that lie 6.5 Km's from the HVC pits. The property has potential to host very large deposits & can be explored year-round on an extensive network of industrial roads.Fox Tungsten is a rare, high-grade critical mineral project. Happy Creek has advanced Fox by discovery to a resource estimate for 3 deposits (BN, RC & BK) totaling 582,400 tonnes grading 0.826% WO3 (Indicated) & 565,400 tonnes grading 1.231% WO3 (Inferred). These resource grades are among the highest reported worldwide, & the deposits are open for expansion within the large-scale partially explored robust tungsten mineral system that is 12 by 5 kilometres in size. The Cariboo projects include the Silverboss, Hen, Art-DL Hawk & Black Riders properties next to Fox. The company is considering strategic options for these road-accessible properties, which are prospective for high-grade gold-silver & bulk-tonnage porphyry copper-molybdenum-gold-silver deposits.
