Harbin Hafei Airbus Composite Manufacturing Centre Company Limited（hereinafter referred to as HMC）was established on Jun 8th, 2009. It is located in Harbin New South Industrial City, occupying a total area of 80000 square meters with 34000 square meters for the first building and an extension of 6900 square meters as the second phase. HMC is a joint venture set up among HAIG, AVICOPTER PLC, AviChina, Heli and Airbus China with a registered capital of USD 170 million under a total investment value of USD 470 million. Business scope of HMC: produce, sell and deliver composite components of Airbus A350XWB and A320 family aircrafts to Airbus and its designated suppliers; currently and potentially involve in study, development, industrialization and series production of Airbus projects; manufacture, sell, distribute aircraft composite components; procure raw materials, machines and other materials which are related to the operation of HMC. HMC has a series of leading and advanced composite manufacturing machines like Automatic Tape Laying machine, Laminating machine, Trimming machine, Core Cutter machine, Autoclave, Oven, Non Destructive Testing machine and Painting machine. HMC fulfills 80% workload of Airbus A320 Rudder and 100% workload of A320 Rudder Skin and HMC now has become the sole supplier to Airbus on all A350 work packages including Rudder, Elevator, Belly Fairing and S19 Maintenance Door.
