Harbor Church in San Diego, a member of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), began as a Gospel-centered church planting movement designed to reach out to San Diego, Tijuana and the world. Harbor UTC was founded in 2001, shortly after the initial Harbor Church was established in downtown San Diego in 2000.Since 2011, Michael Bottomley has pastored Harbor UTC, taking the reins from founding Pastor, Bob Klein, who continues to Pastor Harbor Mira Mesa. Michael, who had been the Assistant Pastor since 2006, has carried on the Harbor UTC mission of ministering to UCSD students, young professionals and families by encouraging all to "learn the Gospel and live the Gospel."In 2014, Harbor Church UTC moved out from under the Harbor network of church plants and began operation as a separate and distinct Church while keeping the same name. Harbor Church 's re-launch began a new mission to see our neighbors, neighborhoods and nations renewed by the Gospel.Won't you join us as we join Him in "renewing life."
