HarborPath is a non-profit organization that provides access to life-saving medications for uninsured people living with chronic illnesses free of charge. Through development of an online portal program, healthcare professionals can apply for multiple medications on behalf of their uninsured patients living with HIV/AIDS through one single application. Eligibility status is determined immediately, and medications are shipped by our mail order pharmacy within 48 hours of program approval. By providing uninsured individuals with access to the full regimen of medications used to treat HIV/AIDS all in one place and at no cost, HarborPath is eliminating many barriers to care for the most vulnerable. Additionally, we are expanding our program offerings to include medications to treat hepatitis C, which will benefit uninsured individuals co-infected with both viruses. Our proprietary technology reengages healthcare professionals and allows limited resources to be redirected where they are needed most. The HarborPath portal SAVES TIME allowing more focus and attention on patient care. The application process is done in five easy steps, which takes less than 15 minutes.
