Harbour Light is a 'not for profit' registered accommodation provider. We specialise in providing bespoke accommodation and services to assist people with disabilities fulfil their responsibilities as tenants and help them live an independent life.We are dedicated to provide housing for people with disabilities to live a successful, ordinary life on ordinary streets.We put the individual at the centre of all we do allowing them choice, control and community inclusion as part of their personal centered plan.What is Supported Living?Supported living is for individuals who are no longer going to be living with their family but who still need regular support. The most important thing is that these individuals have their own tenancy and cannot be made to leave their home. They will be supported:• To become good tenants.• To make choices in their day-to-day life.• To have a voice in the choices they make.The tenant will be given CHOICE, CONTROL and COMMUNITY INCLUSIONSupported living allows the tenant:• Choice of geographic area.• Choice of who they live with.• Involvement in their community.• The same rights and responsibilities as other citizensWe mainly work with individuals from the following areas:• Mental health• Learning disability• Physical disabilityThere is no restriction of age, race, religion or gender
