I'm Scott, the owner of Hardihood. I married my high school sweetheart, Ashleigh. We've lived in San Diego for 10 years. I moved down here after college and spent 9 years working in the sporting goods industry for a brand called SKLZ. I started working with SKLZ right after college and eventually touched all areas of the business. I gained invaluable business experience as the company evolved from a start up to the leading brand in sports training. I experienced first hand the ingenuity, courage, and resilience it takes to turn an idea into a profitable and reputable business. I loved working with the SKLZ team, but we dreamt of owning a family business that could have a lasting impact on the community we live and play in. We love this city and wanted to find a way to invest in people who are invested in building businesses that impact their industry or community in positive ways.With the help of our friends we founded Hardihood for courageous entrepreneurs who want to be a part of a thriving community of diverse business startups and industry leaders. Our desire is to create a work space designed to foster a supportive and creative culture. Hardihood welcomes people from different industries and backgrounds to help drive innovation, collaboration, and service.
