The Harjo Education Foundation, founded in 2021 by a dedicated family, ensures American Indian students are no longer underrepresented in higher education. Our foundation is operated by two first-generation college graduates and takes great pride in assisting American Indian college students through the college process. We provide individualized sessions for each student to help select colleges that fit their academic needs and financial budget—our foundation assists with the college admission process and financial literacy. We also provide financial support to aid our students in completing their college degrees. Funding available can be used towards tuition, room, board, books, fees, travel, application fees, utilities, and housing cost.
