Haroldston is a traditional Welsh farmhouse, probably built in the 17th century. A Victorian wing was added later. The house makes a very atmospheric and spacious self catering holiday home, offering plenty of 'elbow room' for the accommodation of large parties of 12 people. Haroldston's central location in Pembrokeshire makes it ideal for exploration of this wonderful and diverse county. For example, walking holiday groups have easy access to the whole of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path from this base. Similarly, sightseers can get to St Davids & Fishguard as easily as Tenby and Saundersfoot. Pembrokeshire's numerous attractions and events are also close by (see our new Things To Do guide).Haroldston, as a holiday home, has the dual advantage of being in a lovely and peaceful rural environment, at the end of a 300 yard private drive, whilst at the same time being close to the many advantages of Pembrokeshire's county town, Haverfordwest. The main shopping area is a one mile walk away, along a country lane, although it is a little further by car thanks to the one-way system. The nearest pub (The Glen) is less than a mile whilst there is a convenience store just 600 yards away. We think that this is important for a self catering holiday - in many cases holidaymakers are faced with a drive of several miles just to get a bottle of milk and a newspaper! Finally, Haverfordwest's super new leisure centre is also a mile away.
