The Harvard Council of Student Sustainability Leaders (CSSL) is a partnership between the Harvard Office for Sustainability and Harvard's undergraduate and graduate student environmental community aimed at furthering Harvard's commitment to sustainability. The Council is composed of student representatives from each of Harvard's schools, each of whom serve a minimum of a one year term on the Council. Past projects of the Council include the creation of the Sustainable Meeting and Event Guide and working with the Harvard Center for the Environment to launch the Climate Leaders Program for Professional Students at Harvard. Members of the Council come from a diverse array of backgrounds and go on to be leaders in many fields, from public health and urban design to entertainment and finance.
