AboutHarvard Men's Soccer Club consists of a first and second team that play competitive games and tournaments throughout New England. The first team has had a history of success since it's inception in 2008, placing first in the Boston area league in 2009, 2010 and 2011, 2013, 2014 and 2015, and winning the Ivy League club soccer tournament in 2015 and 2016. In the Fall of 2012, the team was co-champions of the Regional Tournament in Downington, PA and qualified for Nationals in Memphis from the Northeast region of over 125 teams. At Nationals, the team advanced through the group stage and the Round of 16, ultimately losing in the Round of 8 to Cal Poly. Since then, the team has been a perennial qualifier for the Regional Tournament. From 2015 onward, both the A and B teams have qualified for the same league, and the B team has also aimed to qualify for the Regional Tournament. Harvard Men's Soccer Club has a strong tradition of memorable bonds between current players and alums and will continue its tradition of winning and friendship in the future. Each year, open tryouts are held on the first weekend in September, which is often after the first week of classes.
