The Hatfield House Chamber Music Festival takes place each September in Hatfield House, Hertfordshire.The Festival is curated by Artistic Director Guy Johnston. This year's Festival takes place between 25th - 28th September. This year the theme is Remembrance: Commerating the First World War, the 150th Anniversary of Richard Strauss and Sir John Tavener. This year there are 7 public concerts and 2 schools concerts.The glorious surroundings of Hatfield House offers audiences an exciting and intimate occasion and an opportunity to explore the grounds as well as enjoying concerts. Concerts take place in the Marble Hall, Old Palace and St Etheldreda's Church.This year's Festival features Guy Johnston, The Sixteen, Aronowitz Ensemble, Ruby Hughes, Anthony Marwood, Navarra Quartet, Hugo Ticciati, Göran Fröst, Adi Tal, Tom Poster, Ana-Maria Vera, Samuel West, Mark Simpson, Jennifer Pike, Charles Economou, Jack Liebeck, Claire Barnett-Jones, Gwilyn Bowen,Tristan Hambleton and Hertfordshire Chorus. The Grand Finale will also feature the Hatfield House Festival Chamber Orchestra conducted by Nicholas Daniel.
