Haverford Square was founded by two brothers who lived near, and attended Drexel University. They saw a void in the way that landlords treated student residents and showed very little regard to their impact on the community. They decided to fill this void by renovating their first home on Haverford avenue. They saw an opportunity to transform a blighted neighborhood into a community where students and longtime residents can blend their differing backgrounds into a clean, friendly, and thriving neighborhood.
