Our family established Hayes Family Wines inthe Barossa Valley in 2014 to pursue a life onthe land. We are now the proud custodiansof superbly-sited historic Barossa vineyards,driven by the desire to feel the soil on ourhands and to craft authentic, classically-styledwines that reflect our unique sites.We achieve this by working with the region'shero varieties – Shiraz, Grenache, Mataroand Semillon – farmed using organic andbiodynamic practices, handling our fruitrespectfully in the winery with minimalintervention.Our multi-generation vineyards have anenviable track record of producing someof the region's finest wines. Our wines aremade with thought, using organic, sustainableand traditional low-intervention practices,whilst embracing innovation. We have anuncompromising focus on producing the bestwines possible; wines that display fruit purity,balance and ageability.Winemaker, Andrew Seppelt, draws ongenerations of knowledge and some 25+ yearsof personal winemaking experience to craftwines that are sensitive to site, variety andvintage.
