The board of Hamar Ltd. has approved the merger of the company's operating division with Deilir Technical Services Ltd., NTD Ltd. and Vélar Ltd. as well as a new name for the new company: HD Technical Services.The new brand combines the ingenuity, high-tech and know-how that exists within the four companies. The merger enables us to provide even better services to our customers across different industries. The services we provide include condition analysis of machines and constant supervision of mechanical equipment, design, production and service for pumping and piping systems, maintenance of geothermal steam turbines and generators for power plants, import of mechanical and technical equipment, installations, providing spare parts and other services.Our customers come from all of Iceland's main industries, that is, heavy industry, fisheries, power companies, utility companies, food production companies and aqua farming. HD Technical Services has >200 employees at six locations around Iceland. Our employees have extensive experience and education in the fields of steel, machinery and technology which enables us to provide top quality service. Our employees are specially trained in the maintenance of machinery which maximises the uptime of the industrial plants that we service. Every stop due to maintenance is carefully planned in consideration of the conditions at the industrial plant in question, the availability of specialised workers and spare parts necessary. In this way we keep the stops to an absolute minimum and increase the predictability of our customers' operations.The company has certifications for its work in the fields of quality control and security and has obtained an ISO 9001-2015 quality management system certification, as well as an equal pay certification.
