Head Safe is comprised of three parts:1. Head Case Impact SensorThe impact sensor is a small device inserted into a helmet to monitor and record head impacts by measuring G-force through an accelerometer in the device. By reviewing the athlete's normal impact history and comparing to national averages, the Head Case Impact Sensor can detect impacts of concern and send an alert. 2. Head Case Mobile AppThe Head Case Mobile App is a diagnostic tool that walks parents and coaches through a step-by-step field-side test to help detect symptoms of a potential concussion. If an athlete fails the concussion test, test results are uploaded to the Head Case Website, and an alert is sent out. 3. Head Case WebsiteOn Head Case Website, athletes, parents and coaches can review an athlete's impact data on the Head Case Website along with analysis and reporting tools. Data can be compared to previous impact data as well as compared to team members and national averages.
