E-learning - New York, New York, United States
Migraine and concussion are two significantly under-diagnosed and under-treated public health issues among adolescents in the United States. Headache and Arts seeks to reduce population-level burden of these conditions among adolescents, their families, and their communities. Our high school program teaches students about complex scientific and medical concepts, including migraine and concussion recognition and response, through modern art. Students build key artistic and stylistic skills while engaging in leadership and advocacy training to become public health ambassadors.
