Heal the Land Initiative in Nigeria is a Non-Governmental Organization that works to Improve the lives of women, children, youth, people living with HIV and most at Risk Population through self-development and community participation.MissionHELIN's mission is to deliver qualitative and compassionate services through promotion of good health, education and general development.VisionHELIN envisions a society where women, youth and children have access to health, education and general development through innovative and participatory approach.Her innovative and creative strategies include:To reduce and prevent HIV infection through sensitization and education of women, men and households that have adolescent boys and girls in the communities. To reduce or eliminate malnutrition among CLHIV within the ages of 0-5yrs and other children in the communities through provision of nutritional supplements, nutritional education and counselling of caregivers, food demonstration/food support to most vulnerable household, development of homestead farming and referrals of malnourished OVC to facility for care and support services. To promote integrated quality care and support services for people/children living with HIV (PLHIV) &(CLHIV) and ensure that they achieve viral suppression. To effectively track, document and disseminate project implementation progress towards improving programme performance to achieve the set ICHSSA 1 project goal.
