Healing Arts Family Medicine and Direct Primary Care was founded in 1979 as a small independent family practice. We have always focused on treating the whole person and not simply a person's disease. We offer traditional western based family medicine services partnering with our patients to focus on preventive care. We focus on utilizing diet, exercise, stress management, and other lifestyle modifications before utilizing medications. We will work alongside our patients who prefer to treat with supplements, herbals and other alternative therapies while keeping western medications and treatments as viable and often primary options. We accept most major insurances, including Medicare and Colorado Medicaid as well as offering Direct Primary Care (DPC) services to patients who are tired of being sidelined by the ridiculous stipulations of insurance companies. DPC is at the forefront of bringing medical decision making back into the hands of providers and patients without the need for a financial middleman who has neither parties' best interests at heart. DPC harkens back to the days where people paid their doctors directly from their checkbooks but uses modern technology to simply payments into a monthly subscription. Patients also get 24/7 access to their provider via phone, text, email and video chat. Healing Arts also offers discounted in-house prescription medications that can be dispensed directly to the patient foregoing the need to go to a pharmacy in most cases.
