Health Economy helps employers reduce their health costs, using science-proven, data-driven tactics. My specialty is to work with companies that have tried everything, but still are not satisfied with their rate increases. I do not sell health insurance. Rather, I use data analysis tools to determine what health behaviors and other factors are driving costs. I can then help the employer choose strategies that directly address the cost drivers. No company or group of employees is "average". Most wellness programs are not hitting their target, because they have not been designed with the group's specific health needs in mind. For example, many wellness programs address heart disease but few employee groups have heart disease as a significant cost driver. Health Economy services are for companies that want to take a new look and new approach to their health costs.
