Kim has executive leadership experience which spans the government, university and not for profit sectors. As the former Chief Executive Officer of Rural Health Workforce Australia and a senior executive at the Department of Health and Ageing, Kim has successfully influenced national policy and established high level partnerships with government. With a strong reputation as a thought leader in the health sector, Kim was the Australian representative on the World Health Organization Expert panel on Human Resources for Health. She continues as advisor to the Health and Human Resources Development Centre (part of the Ministry of Health in China).
