Health Systems of America's revolutionary Modular Hospital design is the refinement of over 30 years of research and analysis put into practice. Our Modular Hospital design boasts many advantages over traditional hospitals and most of those advantages are attributed directly to our unique circular design. The efficiency of our Modular Hospital is obvious from the first time you see it. Unlike in a typical hospital design which uses long corridors connecting nurse stations to remote patients, our Modular Hospital design uses a circular form. Our circular design places all patients equidistant from the caregivers in the central core. In addition, our Modular Hospital is designed to be operated by a staff of four care givers at any one time. Our design creates the optimal relationship of care givers to patients. By limiting the number of beds per care giver, our Modular Hospital operates on a 1.1 to 1 ratio of patients to caregivers. Compared to the 7.5 to 1 ratio typical of community hospitals, this efficiency translates to hundreds of thousands of dollars in savings. In summary, our Modular Hospitals can be constructed, equipped, and operated at a fraction of the cost of a traditional hospital with long term operational savings sufficient to recoup the initial cost of construction within the first ten years of operation.
