One of the major challenges of our time is the ability to discern fact from opinion, and truth from falsehoods given the enormous amount of information available online. For instance, the coronavirus pandemic has brought with it all kinds of myths and conspiracy theories about the origins as well as the efforts to find a treatment and/or vaccine. This has made it necessary for trained professionals to provide accurate information as counter to the false information online. Our organization curates fact-based biomedical and healthcare information and makes it available to our target population in some African languages including pidgin English.
