Healthy Savings® is a new program that is empowering consumers in America to save money while purchasing healthier foods. This innovative program is powered by cutting-edge technology that makes saving on healthier foods nearly effortless. Healthy Savings cards are pre-loaded with savings each week; shoppers don't have to download, print, or clip offers, and cards can be used at all participating retailers. Consumers simply: (1) Shop for promoted items, (2) Scan card, (3) Save instantly. \\Progressive health insurers are offering Healthy Savings to their members to help them eat healthier foods and live healthier lives. Each card holds discounts on pre-qualified healthy foods from nearly 200 participating food manufacturers. All of the foods promoted on the card are screened for nutrient density and only the top 1/3 of products in each major food group qualify to be promoted. \\Healthy Savings cards also be used to distribute discounts and cash rewards on purchases of fresh produce. These savings are funded by employers who want their employees eat healthier, charitable organizations who want participants to be able to access healthier foods, and other entities that care about healthy eating.
