Devangi Dalal completed her Bachelor's degree in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology in 1991. With over 30 years of experience, she actively organizes and participates in events to grow awareness about hearing-impaired children. Her motto is to make the world aware that hearing-impaired people are not handicapped. She is the Co-Founder of JOSH Foundation, which has successfully distributed over 1300+ hearing aids to hearing-impaired children coming from underprivileged backgrounds. These efforts have contributed to children of 14 schools wearing 100% digital hearing aids. Acknowledged as the First Indian Audiologist to be awarded with Humanitarian Award from the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) in 2012, in Boston, Massachusetts (USA). .Appointed as the First Advocate for Hearing Health from India, by Coalition for Global Hearing Health (CGHH), working with WHO to promote public awareness about hearing health.Appointed as the National Coordinator for Private Practitioners of India, by the Indian Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ISHA).Acted as Executive Member of the Indian Speech & Hearing Association in 1992-93.Contributed as an International Member of the Public Awareness an Outreach Committee of the American Academy of Audiology.
