Our mission is to educate fellow college students and teens with interactive workshops and one-on-one mentoring relationships that focus on teaching teens and young adults about the signs and repercussions that are common within abusive relationships, including the different types of abuse, whom to contact to get help, resources, safety plans, self-esteem, and guidelines for healthy dating.We provide the training, resources, and support necessary to help our peers live in healthy and safe relationships with others. While educating those around us on what healthy relationships look like, we partner with domestic violence organizations like Laura's House and the Women's Shelter of Long Beach by holding fundraisers and drives to support the families at the Laura's House shelter.As a member of HEART, you will gain access to certification opportunities, volunteer events, peer mentorship, leadership roles, and a community that strives to bring awareness to safe and healthy relationships.
