Heart Beats is a non-profit Clogging affiliated with the "Square & Folk Dance Federation of Washington, Inc. and the Spokane Area Council." Heart Beats was recently founded by Barbara Olivo Cagle. Barbara instructs clogging on Wednesday mornings, 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. at the Deer Lake Resort's Eagles Nest. Blub membership is $10 a year. Clogging lessons are $28 a month for four two-hour classes. Drop-ins are welcomed at $5 for the first hour and $8 for two hours. First hour is instructional and second hour is straight danbcing. The Heart Bea\ts recently performed at the Clayton Fair on August 29. The club looks forward to performing at nursing homes, schools and community functions.Mission Statement: As long as God has our hearts beating, we will dance to the beats of clogging music to put smiles on those we entertain.
