The Heartland Cycling Network provides a forum for bicycle enthusiasts to talk about their passions. The mission of the HCN is to educate and elevate cycling in the heartland. Quite frankly, there are a lot of people on bikes riding the trails and roads and the infrastructure needs to improve to facilitate better trails for recreation and transportation. The Elevating Cycling part of our mission to advocate to improved cycling opportunities.The education portion of the mission is to help new riders understand what is available and to ride with respect for others on the trails and roads. We also want to let people know of the various opportunities to support cycling and the many events in the area.If you want to join our team, we are looking for volunteers to help gather news and be a part of the HCN.
