I started Heartland Heritage with the goal of buying and personally leading (on a full-time basis) a single great business in the greater Chicago area or nearby (including Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana and Michigan). As a 6th-generation Chicagoan and an 8th-generation Midwesterner, I care deeply about and am committed to the region in which I was raised, and aspire to make a positive impact on the community through leading a thriving – but responsibly run – business in the area for the long-term. Heartland Heritage is not a private equity firm.
