Heathland School is centrally located in the heart of East Lancashire and is within easy access of the M65 and M66. Founded in 1994, it boasts an excellent reputation as a traditional, caring school, interested in the "whole" child. Our Senior Department caters for children from 11 to 16 years, offering a supported transition from primary to senior level and continuing the individual educational plans for each child. We offer up to 12 GCSE's, with subjects taken early if possible and access to obtaining more practical NVQ's if appropriate.
