Hekima is a nongovernmental organization that was set up in Mwanza, started its activities in 2010 under par social workers umbrella, led by Sir Chui and got registration on 01st June 2011 as a community-based organization (CBO) with mandatory to work in Ilemela District, earlier was recognized as Motivation Community targeted to assist vulnerable children and youth. Hekima is dedicated to responding to various problems that are derived from social and economic matters in general. Hekima is rooted in advocacy and community engagement on policy formulation, holding government and private sector to account. Not only that, but also Hekima conducts research activities, volunteerism work to promote child safeness, rights but also youth participation to ensure the presence of dependency among families and groups in all communities on decision making social, economic and political.
