What started as a short- run summer series podcast in spring of 2016, has quickly grown into much more for Alaina, Eula and Jasmine, and their community of listeners and supporters. All three ladies were born and raised in the CD, and have been friends for 13 years. The podcast is their response and solution to an ever-changing Seattle, in an effort to preserve and create community for people of color. Alaina reviews food and restaurants, Jazz keeps everyone in the know about noteworthy events and happenings, and Eula interviews POC folks doing impactful, dope work in the Seattle area. The podcast also features HellaBlack mixes by DJs of the ladies' choosing. Currently, the show airs bi-weekly and is available on Soundcloud, Stitcher and iTunes.
