As part of the network of Non-governmental Organisations, the Scientific Association of Young Political Scientists (E.O.NE.P.E.) , purposes at providing an impetus to political scientists in order to foster research pertaining to political affairs, promote dialogue and exchange of ideas via conferences or through scientific magazines, co-operation with other European or International NGOs and enhancing the nexus between political social and economic scientists. EONEPE promotes Political and Economic Science in Greece. Bearing in mind, that politics should serve and protect democracy and the inalienable human rights, EONEPE emphasizes the eminent role of individuals in formulating political decisions. If anyone wanted to shrink this variety of activities and objectives into one word that could describe the goals of NGOs, most likely he or she would come up with "political". And if he or she wanted to find a word that best describes the arsenal used to attain these objectives, then that word would be "politics". Politics as a mean of resolving political affairs. EONEPE: 1. adopts the principles of the United Nations as they are outlined in Article 2 of the UN Charter, as well as the rules of humanitarian law, 2. considers that the role of political science is to uphold Freedom, Democracy, Peace, Respect of Life, Research, Development, Environment, Culture, Freedom of Access to Public Goods, 3. recognizes the valuable action of the UN, the European Union and their institutions, as well as all global alliances that support the values and the objects referred to in the previous paragraph, 4. adopts the principles laid down by the the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations (ECOSOC), the International Coalition for the Responsibility to Protect (ICRtoP) and aims participation in such Alliances and Organizations. 5. considers that the promotion of dialogue and exchange of ideas, contribute to improve the functionality of the Association
