Hello+@UM is a friendly health app designed by medical professionals in University of Malaya (UM) for hospitals and medical centers to manage their patients remotely. The objective is two-fold: reduced hospital calls help minimizing the strain on medical facilities and personnel, and save time and cost for the patient. It puts healthcare rightfully into the hands of the patient, allowing him the greatest control over his own treatment. The app has a high degree of personalization to empower the patient to manage his own treatment confidently with the support from the medical team just a tap away, completing the brand promise of enabling users to "own their health". UM's proposition is to offer a plethora of brilliant applications for repetitive, non-critical healthcare management for certain diseases, specifically encompassing tuberculosis, renal, geriatric, palliative and primary care that can be automated systematically. It takes healthcare to the next level in sustainable digital care medicine by offering a complete solution from medicine taking and delivery, side effects reporting to consultation, progress tracking and so forth.
