Hendrix Produce, Inc. is a grower/packer/shipper of fresh fruits and vegetables - namely, the world-famous Vidalia Sweet Onion - that supplies large retail and wholesale receivers of produce. Founded in 1976 by R.E. Hendrix, Hendrix Produce is still family-owned and operated by R.E., his wife Mary and their son Kevin. The firm has expanded their offerings in recent years to include watermelons in-season as well as imported and other domestically-grown sweet onions to round out a 52-week supply. Based in Metter, GA (just west of Savannah), Hendrix Produce is located in the heart of the Vidalia sweet onion production area. While quality is of paramount importance, so are those customer relationships.
