Welcome to the profile of the Hepatocyte Research Association!The goal of the HRA is to allow researchers, who use human and animal hepatocytes and extra-hepatic cells, a venue to directly communicate with each other and exchange practical information on the use of hepatic cells or other related models."The Hepatocyte Research Association (HRA) is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization, with a mission to promote sharing of knowledge. The HRA has been established since 2007 and the members of the group come from the pharmaceutical, biotech and life sciences industry.To date, the HRA has organized and hosted 15 meetings, generally as a satellite meeting with the International Society for the Study of Xenobiotics (ISSX), however please note, the HRA is not part of ISSX. The members of the HRA planning committee vote on format, theme and speakers for each meeting, looking to bring relevant topics and speakers to the hepatocyte research community.
