I'm Lexy and I'm 18 and am the founder of HerHelp. I came up with the idea of this app at the start of 2019 when I realised that I wasn't the only teenage girl that needed extra advice or a helping hand from time to time. I also realised that the world is a busy place and sometimes it's really hard to stop the people we love to have these conversions so girls stay quiet. Along with this, I know that social media (especially for teenage girls) can be a very toxic environment at times so turning to social media might not be the right choice either. Instead of waiting for a platform to be made to share this positive message I decided to make my own instead.I launched HerHelp on the 18th of July 2019 and already have over 2500 users, with girls every day letting me know how much the app helps them.
