HERicanes is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting female leadership and empowerment through education, collaboration, support, and mentoring. We believe that a positive team experience, especially through athletic endeavors, fosters character development and enriches life skills, building powerful and confident girls and women.Through a series of speaker events and a cascading mentorship program, our female participants learn resilience, courage, authenticity, and service to others from inspiring women of all ages and spheres of influence.Our programs are divided into age-appropriate activities: girls 9-12, teenage girls, female collegiate athletes, and female professionals.HERicanes is a fiscally sponsored project of Community Initiatives, which is registered as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.We are leveraging the power and support of 25 years of experience from Community Initiatives.GuideStar Platinum SealCharity Navigator 100 out of 100 ratinghttps://communityin.org/
