Across the amber waves of grain there is a wind of change. Our projects, Regen Mills and Heritage Ground, were founded on the concept of community, soil health, and the importance of farmers in our food system. We are a community collaboration that brings together farmers, bakers, chefs, and eaters across America. Our highest quality product is the farmers we work with and the regenerative farming practices that they utilize. They are the winds of change in partnership with the community that supports them. Our goal is to change the current industrial model by connecting consumers directly with the best quality, nutrient dense (and delicious!) food available. We will do this in four ways:Supporting farmers in their soil health journey through educational events and training.Building a mobile mill that that travels directly to the farm to mill heirloom and non-GMO regenerative grainsDeveloping a website for farmers to sell their milled products directly to consumers, restaurants, and bakers. Allowing the consumers to get to know their farmers and their practices, and providing an easy way for farmers to sell their goods. Building a community of innovative individuals dedicated to healthy food, soils, and people.This model provides traceability, transparency, identity preservation, a farmer-to-consumer connection, and allows the farmer to retain more of the revenue from their hard work.
