The Hertford Business and Economics Society (HBES) is a leading international sustainability platform, providing Oxford students with unique opportunities to engage in high-impact sustainability research and practice in the business sphere around the world. Following on from a first highly successful project conducted in Africa over the summer 2013, centred around Sustainable Finance, we have since started several new projects addressing amongst other topics sustainability in the Energy sector, and sustainable leadership practices in Asia. All research projects are fully funded by our partners.In addition to the very intense research projects, HBES runs events aimed at stimulating intellectual and interactive discussion among a wider range of students, academics and practitioners around sustainability concerns in business, economics and public policy.
