H&A specializes in qualified cash balance, defined benefit, profit sharing and 401(k) plans. Our role is that of educator, catalyst and facilitator, with the client as the ultimate decision maker. We provide excellent service in all aspects of plan design, implementation and annual administration. H&A gathers the data needed to prepare a qualified plan proposal that includes options to maximize the client's tax position while accomplishing their retirement needs. After the client and their professionals decide which option is best, H&A drafts the plan document and monitors the plan for compliance issues as changes in the tax code and client's objectives warrant. Our administrative staff and enrolled actuary are also responsible for the ongoing administration of the plan, including preparation of annual reports, annual filings of required government forms, annual non-discrimination testing, assistance with distribution and loan requests, participant benefit statements and communication with all appropriate parties. The company was established in 1979 and today remains a family-owned and operated business. Our current staff of retirement plan administrators includes a law school graduate and an enrolled actuary. Collectively, our employees have 145 years of experience in the industry, with an average length of service of over ten years.
