The main focus of the Homestead High School Martial Arts Club is to allow Homestead students to utilize philosophies of martial arts and enhance their physical and mental capabilities. We also aim to instruct various styles of martial arts with a focus on self defense, which are skill sets that are very important to everyone in society. Martial arts is centered on the disciplines of respect, integrity, self-control, and indomitable spirit. While learning martial arts and implementing these principles, students will improve their character and how they interact with their environment.
